AGM Moved to Sept.

2007 AGM Moved to September:

At a recent Community Association meeting it was decided to move the AGM to September each year. This decision was taken following comments from the majority of current members stating that they would be unavailable to attend the AGM if held in June.  Some longer serving members of the committee added that the AGM used to be held in September and  reverting back to  that month may see a better turnout from the community. 

The secretary reminded committee that the AGM must be held within 15 months of the previous AGM in accordance with the constitution and that the latest date to hold this meeting would be 17th September 2007. The secretary also emphasized that notice of the AGM must be advertised one calendar month prior to the event.  It was agreed that the AGM should be advertised in the Greyabbey Notes (Newtownards Chronicle) and by  poster around the village commencing on or before 17th August 2007.    16/04/07
