Within the local information section of Greyabbey Community Online we hope to bring you a wide variety of local topics, information and the day to day stuff relevant to residents living in the area. Once the site is up and running at full strength we will add a whole host of additional features including free buy & sell classified ads, announcement boards etc etc. Until then please be patient. Gathering Dust In the Attic...
Have you, or someone you know of, got a box of old Photographs or postcards gathering dust in the roof space? Most people do, and the ironic thing is that some day they'll all get tossed in the bin without anyone ever seeing them. Let us help you to spread a bit of joy by displaying them on this website for all to see. Primarily we are interested in old images of this village and of those people who used to reside & work here. In reality, we will consider any old photographs including military, other Towns & Villages, work related, anything in fact pre dating the 1970s. We will digitally scan and return all items undamaged and you will get full credit for their presence on this site. Contact the webmaster here.
