Correspondence: Two letters from Iris Robinson ref: traffic through village.
Chair Persons Report: R. Campbell addressed the meeting with a detailed report of the year’s activities. She thanked all Committee members for their participation in what had been a very successful year.
Treasurer’s Report M. Brown reported that Association funds amounted to £985.07. This figure included £196.00 raised at the 60s disco night for the Youth Club Building fund.
Election 2006/2007 Committee: Mrs Angela Martin was invited to take the chair for the election of the 2006/2007 committee.
Following a brief discussion committee was re-elected on block. (Prop. N. Cornick Sec. G. Ritchie.) One further Committee member was also elected.

The new committee formally elected, Mrs Angela Martin returned the chair to R. Campbell and wished the committee every success. R. Campbell thanked Mrs Martin for her participation and the manner in which she conducted the proceedings.

Introduction Meeting: Since little or no introduction required committee set about planning for next term in office. R. Campbell touched on a few matters regarding youth stating that David Cole-Baker had spoken to her on the possibility of acquiring a Portakabin from Newtownards Sailing Club. She agreed to follow this up and report back to committee at next meeting. P. Cornick suggested that we spend some time on forward planning for fund raising events. After lengthy discussion the following events were scheduled for 2006 / 2007. Next meeting brought forward to enable planning for Quiz Night.

Official Auditor: M. Brown reported that the constitution requires the group to appoint an official auditor, not a member of this committee, to inspect the financial accounts on an annual basis. Proposing Michael Kirkpatrick for the position, M. Brown stated that Michael had been the treasurer of this group for a number of years and had a sound knowledge of the accounts and was willing to oblige. Sec. K. Ritchie.
Rural Community Network: M. Brown advised committee that he had applied to RCN for membership but as yet had no correspondence from them.
